Gathering Grounds Café is a social enterprise initiative for individuals with a developmental disability and/ or autism. This model provides opportunities for individuals to learn, practice and expand skills that are required in the workforce.

The focus is on individualized approaches to teaching through a variety of experiences and workshops which help individuals to build their employment skills. Other supports could include;  connecting individuals to community employment agencies and assistance with job retention through on the job coaching supports. Additional benefits include the promotion of social interaction, self-confidence, self-determination, interaction with community members & network building.

Gathering Grounds Café is a popular full service coffee shop located on Bridge St. in Carleton Place. We serve a variety of hot and cold beverages as well as quick lunch options and tasty treats.
